After that, pay dues to our Paypal. In a few days, you will be added to our Microsoft Teams where you can see all the inner workings of the team.

Our general meetings are hosted in person in the Mechanical Engineering North Building in room 132 (or else specified) and members will have opportunity to interact with admin and design announcements. Apply and become a perspective member on our Tech Connect profile to receive access to these meetings and weekly updates.

After the difficult COVID-19 pandemic, the team came back to the 2022 Formula SAE competition and received beneficial feedback on some of our design decisions, business, and team structure to apply to future years. This season we will strive to apply as many pointers that the judges gave us for a more performant car and better ranking at the Competition. We will continually work with sponsors this year to receive the most support possible. We have many projects in sight for this year, so if you are interested in joining the team and want to help us improve, please join on Tech Connect or reach out to us.

Absolutely! Red Raider Racing welcomes all levels of experience. Our team takes pride in its ability to develop professionals across all fields, and will take you through the process of learning new skills and becoming an experienced team member. The only requirements are commitment and passion!

No, all majors are welcome to join this organization. There are multiple branches of student academics that we equip for necessary project execution! Reach out to us and learn how you can apply your education and material to real-world applications. There is a business side and an engineering side. All perspectives are welcomed.

No, we do not supply any team apparel or merchandise along with membership fees. These are separate purchases.

The SAE International Formula program is an engineering design and business evaluation competition for undergraduate and graduate students. The competition provides participants with the opportunity to enhance their engineering design and project management skills by applying learned classroom theories in a challenging competition. The engineering design goal for teams is to develop and construct a single-seat race car for the non-profession weekend autocross racer with the best overall package of design, construction, performance, and cost.
